A memorial diamond is a real diamond made from carbon from your loved one's ashes or hair. In our Swiss laboratory the carbon is extracted and the diamond is grown under high pressure and high temperature. It has the same physical, chemical and optical properties as a diamond mined from the earth. It is a real, lab-grown diamond, not zirconia.

Bring 500 g of ashes (or 11 g of hair) to our North Point showroom, or on request our representatives collect the ashes from a funeral home within Hong Kong. We recommend two sealed bags of 250 g each. Clients in Macau bring the ashes to our Hong Kong showroom.
Complete the order form, provide the required documents (cremation certificate, death certificate and a copy of the remitter's HK ID card) and pay the 50% deposit. You also choose the carat size and cut.

A diamond made from human ashes is naturally white or clear to deep blue. The colour depends purely on the boron content in the ashes.

Second, hand in 500 g of ashes (or 11 g of hair) with the documents, confirm your order and pay a 50% deposit. Third, we send the ashes to our Swiss laboratory in two separate parcels, as a safeguard. Fourth, your diamond is made in 4 to 9 months. Fifth, you collect it at the showroom by appointment and pay the remaining 50%.
A memorial diamond needs at least 500 g of ashes, and your family is welcome to keep the rest. If you prefer, you can hand in all of the ashes at no extra charge; any ashes not needed for the diamond are converted to carbon dioxide during the process, so none are returned.
First, the carbon can be topped up by adding hair, or a garment or plush toy made of cotton or another natural fibre (purely synthetic items can't be used); adding a second source is HKD 990, charged once. If that is not possible, we can offer a Stailas personal-item diamond, a separate product made with carbon from your loved one's personal belongings of natural materials. If you would rather not, you can cancel the order: the ashes are returned at no cost, and we refund 90% of your deposit, less any shipping costs already incurred.

Our Swiss laboratory is open to client visits. Once you have placed an order, you can ask our team to arrange a visit.
Yes. You can cancel your order at any time before production starts, and we understand that plans can change. Production starts when we begin processing your ashes or hair. The refund is 90% of your 50% deposit (a 10% administration charge applies), minus any shipping costs already incurred. Before shipping costs, that is 45% of the order price.
Your finished diamond is collected in person at our North Point showroom by appointment, so we do not offer delivery.
Because each diamond is made to order for you, there is no return period once you have received it. If you have any questions before production starts, we are glad to talk them through.
